Jharkhand: 44 Recruitment Exams Cancelled
Amid widespread student agitation over procedural irregularities, the Jharkhand state government has cancelled 44 recruitment examinations. The Department of Personnel issued eight official notifications late Tuesday night.
The cancellations apply to exams conducted since 2014 by JPSC and related recruitment boards for various roles, including Drug Inspectors, Assistant Professors, Deputy Collectors, Dental Doctors, Assistant Engineers, Civil Judges, Additional Public Prosecutors, Forest Range Officers, Polytechnic Lecturers, and Senior Scientific Officers. Additionally, the state has decided to request the High Court to set up a fast-track court for expedited hearings regarding examination irregularities, along with establishing Internal Vigilance Cells in both state recruitment commissions.
